Time attack videos

Someone recently posted a link to this page of very impressive time attacks on the offical forum. Colossus 16 in 2 minutes, colossus 1 in 40 seconds!

Obligatory *spoiler* warning.

Yeah I was randomly checking out the sotc forums and saw the link about a week ago, the site also shows how the record for #1 is twenty-six seconds. rediculuous, hehe. Anyway, I've been emulating most of what he does, I was able to do the wing manuver on #5, but jumping up the leg of #4 is pretty hard. Also about #1, if you stab the calf of his leg twice, then he will lower his head, effectively elimating most of the battle.

(Same as #1), One question for people out there though, sometimes on the forums they gabble on about a second "giant bird" (like the one shown in gnothi's video) hanging around the temple you can catch a ride with and go even farther than the garden. Im about the same way into the game as gnothi I think, beaten all of easy time attack and have like 3 left on hard time attack, but has anyone actually seen/done this? I looked and there is a bird way up around the temple, much higher altitude than "normal" birds, but cant get to it (cant get past the blocks in the garden anyway either). Anyway, any thoughts?

anonymous: I could swear I heard a bird while standing in the garden, but I havn't actually seen one while up there.

I'm skeptical of claims that anyone has managed to reach the top of the temple - we'd all have seen a video of it by now if someone had. The only thing I think we can say for sure is, judging by that stack of blocks, they knew people would want to climb higher! It would be really cruel of them to leave that carrot dangling just out of reach ;P

How an earth does he run through like that for number 16? That's insane! I've been trying for ages and I just get destroyed.

Absolutely mad times! I'm going to have a go at that leg climb on number 4 next, I had no idea you could do that.

I can do anything the "super guy" does. It's quite easy if you just know EXACTLY what to do.

I'd be more interested to know why the Colossi almost never shake in his videos. Is it because the Japanese version is different than my PAL version?

When I'm perched anywhere on number 16's head, for example, it's like the colossus is at a Metallica concert. His number 16 looks like he's on Valium.

Or Ritalin.
