Two glitches
First off, this funny "clamshell" glitch that occurs when struck by those tendrils while using the cloth of despiration. Actions like kneeling or getting on Agro seem to restore your characters model.
Secondly, if you havn't had the pleasure of falling through the level geometry while playing the game regularly, you might want to check out the space between these two rocks at the bottom of E7. It's particularly interesting if you use your parachute to slow your fall.

One thing I have noticed is when you blast a flash arrow under you when facing away from those rocks at E7, sometimes the chracter becomes invisible. I've only attempted it a few times, and every other time Wander becomes invisible. Unlike the cloak that makes you invisible, you cannot see his shadow or any other sign that he's there (Kicking up dust and such) and lizards treat him just like they normally do.
Not exactly asking, but if you feel like it, give this a shot if you already haven't. I'm trying to find climbing spots and such, but on my own time. I still want to complete Hard Time Attack mode...
Hm, cool. I'll have to try those out. I haven't played SOTC in a long time. I like the rock glitch.
LOL, that clamshell glitch is the funniest thing I've seen in sotc so far!
Also, that glitch in the rocks was pretty cool too, how you find and do all the stuff you do in the videos you have is just crazy, and I thought I knew sotc pretty well.
migs: the clamshell glitch is something i read about in a "secrets and cheats" guild before i had the cloth of despiration.
but the geometry glitch i found myself while trying to eat all of the fruit on the map. naturally i didn't save at any point - and having just spent an hour eatten every fruit on the northern side of the island, i was pretty angry ;P
awesome finds. the "falling through the world" glitch reminded me of a glitch i found in the first demo. idk if you'd feel like making a video of it, but there's another spot in the secret garden where there seems to be a crack in the wall. walk through it and you're suddenly falling, the geometry is all upside-down & crazy, agro seems to be flying around below you - just chaos. if you feel like it'd be worth filming, i could get into the specifics of where it is & all.

phillistine: I've been meaning to make videos of stuff from the demo disc for a while now - I just can't get my hands on a copy of it!! None of the stores around here seem to carry older issues.. I sent a few email today actually, to ziffdavis and playstation customer support, to see if I can get my hands on it through them =\
Ok gnothi, here are some vid suggestion I came up with, you've probably done em, but would be cool to have a little compilation of them or something, I dunno, take a look.
Video Suggestions:
1. Shoot #5 while still behind the fence and watch hime come over and blow you down (also works when you jump off him and onto a rooftop).
(various colossus launches, jump or get thrown, but you get more distance if you jump, either way looks cool.)
2. Jump off #3's sword to his head area.
3. Jump off #6's head when he wails back and forth.
4. Jump off #4's head same as above.
5. Jump head first into the water from the top of that main spirl pathway against #7.
6. Falling stab onto #8's belly from up high would be cool!
7. Jump off #9's head while hes wailin'... might land near the rear, or on his tail.
8. Stand near the ledge while fighting #11 and get rammed off the edge!
9. Against #12, you can jump pretty far when it moves side to side when your on its back.
10. While fighting #13, you can try to jump of a wing when it raises up, and try to land somewhere on its body.
11. Jump off the broken bridge while fighting #15, and do a falling stab right on the top of head for some good ownage!, has to be solidly in the middle for the max effect.
12. While fighting #16, you can shoot him with arrows at the place you start out, and he'll shoot some plasma at you from far away, if somehow you can get hit by it standing at the far ledge and get blasted off, that'd be cool.

13. Do a backflip off Agro.
14. Do a double backflip off Agro jumping off the edge of a cliff (works well just outside the temple)
15. Grap the bridge on the way to #16 and hang on, and he falls kinda stange, cool tho.
16. Roll off cliffs.
Or maybe sitting on #12's face ledge, and jumping when he swings up! Wheeee!

just wanted to say thanks for this page, i had to rent SotC three times to finish it (i dont have a ps2, my friend left me his for several days).
I was astounded by this game, and when I finished the disc I rented was railed and I couldnt see the ending, I was so pissed, had to search for the ending on the net and found your page with lots of nice vids... So thanks, now I dont have the PS2 but I still like to watch some movies from SotC

Phillistine, what is this Invisible Platform glitch? If it lets you float, I'm for it. Is it the invisible platform that keeps you off the ground when you jump off the cliff before the tentacles get you? It'd be nice to see, gnothi.
you can fall stab in this game? Backflip of Agro? Aw man, i beat this game 4 times and i had no clue you could fall stab. How do you fall stab? Is it only in the PAL version? I only have the American version, so that would explain it.
And backfliping off Agro ive never seen happen before in my entire life. Plz someone tell me how to do these things.
Also, gnothi, I think it would be cool if you showed various videos of Wander jumping off high locations in the game. I enjoy going to the west cape and try to jump from the save point into the water. I swear to god i almost made it into the water once. Sadly, almost doesn't matter.
To do a backflip, just ride fast enough on Agro and hold the left analog stick down and quickly press X two times, then jump quickly and you'll do a backflip (Keep holding the analog down all the time until you land), I've also done normal (frontal) flips, but I don't know how I did it.

anybody else every been bumped into a colossus.
its easy to do on (i think 13??) the one with the things on his head that you hit to steer him.
just swim underneith him and sometimes his arm comes and bumps you into his body.
its just a big room and you cant get out.
hey howdie everyone, you should totally try this glitch on the last colossus and see if it affects the ending at all..... great idea i think...
