In depth article

Here's an article that goes in depth into the techniques used to create the world of SotC. And here's an English translation of that article. It seems to come from the developers themselves, with lots of "behind the scenes" pictures. Really fascinating.

(I'm not sure how I missed this - It's from way back in December of 2005)

For reals, this is probably the coolest article about SotC and it gives alot of good information. Pretty crazy to hear all the little tricks they used to get what they wanted out of the PS2, pretty cool to hear developers just give out the info like that. Ueada and his crew are by far one of the coolest developers out there.

An interesting read, for sure, and translated really well for something with so much technical stuff in it, LOL. Of course, a ton of that flew right over my head, but it's still cool to see what goes into a game like this. :D

I just read the interview, one interesting thing is the program they use to make the 3d is lightwave, used too in some films like back to the future.
